Payment of Allotments extended to all places within British Territory and to such other places as may be specially approved in individual cases


Admiralty Order in Council No. 47

Whereas it is provided in Article 1656, clause g, of the Regulations for the Government of Your Majesty's Naval Service that Allotments may be paid at certain places only outside the United Kingdom.

And whereas we are of opinion that it is desirable to extend the Allotment system to (1) all places within British Territory, and (2) such other places as may be specially approved by us in individual cases.

We beg leave humbly to recommend that Your Majesty may be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council to sanction this proposal.

The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have signified their concurrence herein.
