Rate of Command Money to Commanders and Lieutenants in command of all sea-going vessels commissioned as Tenders to Harbour Ships

Whereas under the Regulations for the Government of Your Majesty's Naval Service the scale of Command Money for Commanders and Lieutenants in command of tenders is laid down at 3s. 9d. a day in tenders to sea-going and Coastguard ships and in Torpedo Boat Destroyers attached for instructional purposes to Harbour Ships, and at 2s. 6d. a day for all other tenders to Harbour Ships :
And whereas, in consequence of changes in the system of training in the Fleet, it has been found necessary to commission sea-going vessels of considerable size and importance as tenders to Harbour Ships :
We beg leave humbly to recommend that Your Majesty may be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council to sanction payment of Command Money at the rate of 3s. 9d. a day to Commanders and Lieutenants in Command in all sea-going vessels commissioned as tenders to Harbour Ships, to take effect as from the 1st April 1904.
The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have signified their concurrence of this proposal
