Mess Utensils for the use of Ships’ Companies — Revised scale

Whereas we have had under consideration the Scale of Mess Utensils at present supplied for the use of Ships' Companies in accordance with Appendix XXIV. of the Regulations for the Government of Your Majesty's Naval Service.
And whereas we are of opinion that it is desirable that this scale should he adapted to modem requirements by the provision of additional articles that have become necessary and the removal of others that have become obsolete or are no longer used to the same extent as formerly.
We beg leave humbly to recommend that Your Majesty may be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council to sanction the substitution of a Revised Scale of Mess Utensils, as shown in the accompanying Schedule, for that now in force.
The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have signified their concurrence in this proposal.
