Admiralty Order in Council No. 131
16th February 1906.
A.G.
Whereas we have found it necessary to commission H.M.S. "Actaeon" as a Torpedo School Ship at Sheerness :
And whereas we are of opinion that the labour and responsibility devolving on the Officers in charge of Stores in that Ship are such as to entitle them to receive allowances according to the scale provided in Appendix XVIIa to the Regulations for the government of Your Majesty's Navy for the Officers occupying corresponding positions in the Torpedo School Ships at Portsmouth and Devonport :
We beg leave humbly to recommend that Your Majesty will be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council to sanction payment accordingly as from 6th June 1905.
The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have signified their concurrence in this proposal
N.P. 722 / 1906.
