|
Admiralty Order in Council No. 156.
22nd October 1906.
A.G.
Whereas by Order in Council of Her late Majesty bearing date the 17th December 1888 an allowance of 4s. a day was granted to the officer in command of the former Admiralty Yacht "Enchantress" for charge of Warrant Officer's Stores and Furniture :
And whereas under present arrangements the stores are now in the care of Warrant Officers and the furniture in the charge of the Accountant Officer :
And whereas we are of opinion that the extra responsibility placed upon the Officer in charge entitles him to additional remuneration :
We beg leave humbly to recommend that Your Majesty may be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council to sanction the payment, as from the 12th June 1904, of an allowance of 1s. a day to the officer engaged in the performance of this duty.
The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have signified their concurrence in this proposal.
N.P. 3393 / 1906.
