Emoluments of the Naval Members of Board of Admiralty — Revision of


Admiralty Order in Council No. 159a.

21st December 1906.

A.

Whereas by Orders in Council of Her late Majesty bearing dates the 10th May 1872, and the 9th August 1872, the emoluments of the Naval members of the Board of Admiralty, stated below, were fixed as follows : —

Second Sea Lord Salary £1,000 a year.
£200 House allowance.
Third Sea Lord and Controller of the Navy Salary £1,500 a year.
£200 House allowance.
Fourth Sea Lord Salary £1,000 a year.
£200 House allowance.

in addition to Naval Half Pay in each case :

And whereas we are of opinion that it is desirable to revise these emoluments :

We beg leave humbly to recommend that Your Majesty may be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council to sanction the revised emoluments set forth below : —

Second Sea Lord Salary £1,500 a year.
£200 House allowance.
Third Sea Lord and Controller of the Navy Salary £1,750 a year.
£200 House allowance.
Fourth Sea Lord Salary £1,500 a year.
£200 House allowance.

in addition to Naval Half Pay in each case.

The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's .Treasury have signified their concurrence in these proposals.
