Money Prizes for Good Shooting in R.N. — Revision of allowances for payment of

21st December 1906.
Whereas by an Order in Council of Her late Majesty bearing date the 7th February 1888 and by Your Majesty's Orders in Council of the 12th January 1905 and the 10th May 1905, sanction was given to the payment of money prizes to encourage good shooting with guns of various natures in Your Majesty's Navy :
And whereas we are of opinion that the system of awarding such prizes is in need of revision in order fully to meet present requirements :
We beg leave humbly to recommend that Your Majesty may be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council to sanction payment of the allowances shewn in the following Schedule in lieu of those at present in force : —

Capitation allowance of 1s. 8d. per annum on complement. To take effect from the first January 1907. |
| Prize Money for good shooting with Light Q.F. and Machine Guns in Ships carrying only Light Q.F. and Machine Guns. |
Capitation allowance of 1s. 3d. per annum on complement. To take effect as from the 25th April 1905. |
The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have signified their concurrence in these proposes.
