"Portland Excelsior" Tent: Established 1887.

Meetings held alternate Fridays in the Bible Christian Schools, High Street and at Wakeham.

The Tent started with 25 members and has now 231 members, an increase of 25 for the year. It is now the largest Tent in the district. It also has a Juvenile Branch into which children from 3 to l5 years of age are admitted: Secretary Bro T. W. Peters, 16 Mallams.

Started in 1900 with the object of arousing the interest of ratepayers in local government and calling attention to deficiencies in local administration. The first president was Mr William Lillywhite the Association had a membership of about 120.

Portland Free Church Council This was established in 1900, but lapsed in 1904.
