Royal Naval Barracks, Chatham - Main Gate - Circa 1906
The Post Card was posted at 10 p.m. on 30 March 1906 from Chatham. Presumably after he had finished his Joining Routine, got his tot organised, and found his messdeck - on the reverse there is the following message :-
"99 Mess R.N. Barracks Chatham. Dear Mable, Just a line to you to let you know where I am stationed...Harry"
