NOTES:
Peter was Baptized on 19 April, 1719 in the First Congregational Church of Hampton, New Hampshire

According to Leroy Peavey's notes, Peter moved to Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire

He was deeded land in Chester, New Hampshire in 1724. He may not have ever lived on this land since his last four children were born in Massachusetts beginning in early 1726.

Barbara; Your inquiry was forwarded to me as library archivist. I consulted our copy of History of Hampton, N.H. 1638-1892 by Joseph Dow. Its only reference to Peavey/Peavy is on page 907:

"Peter Peavey and Esther his wife had children: Hannah, b. July 14, 1721. Mary, b. Mar. 22, 1723. Rachel, bp. May 23, 1725. Esther, bp. June 2, 1728"

Our copy of Vital Records of Hampton, N.H. vol.2 confirms the above, with additional detail that they were records of the First Congregational Church, and on page 23; "Peter Pevy, bp. 19 April, 1719."
