Priscilla was born to the late William and Helen Morey January 17, 1936 in Westerly Rhode Island. She grew up in neighboring Pawcatuck Connecticut, where she attended West Broad Street Elementary School, and Stonington High School. After graduating from high school, Priscilla furthered her education at the Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School in Providence RI

Priscilla married her husband, Robert Peavey on October 5, 1957 in Westerly Rhode Island. Priscilla loved to play Bridge, and this is what she did every Wednesday afternoon, with a close knit group of very dear friends. She did not travel much but did enjoy long weekends on Lake Martin, and cheering on the Auburn Tigers during Football Season.

Priscilla is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert Peavey of Mobile; daughter Leah Peavey of Mobile; son Scott Peavey of Tampa; sisters Suzanne Morey Hatchell of Strongsville OH, and Sharon Handin of Albany NY. Mrs. E. PEEVEY, wife of Mr. Asa PEEVEY departed this life near McNeil, Ala., on May 11th 1890, after a long and painful illness.

She is survived by many warm friends who watched with her during her suffering, the thought of which can but be oppressive to the memory of her many friends and relations in years to come.

For many, many years she has occupied the position of a mother to the neighborhood, and we shall greatly miss her, yet live in the hope that our loss is her eternal gain. Our heart-felt sympathies are extended to the bereaved husband and children.
