Pendrill Family History Society: About the Society

About the Pendrill Family History Society

Please note: this website was created many years ago for the Society. Unfortunately it is now dormant, but the historical information in these pages has been left online in the hope that it may be useful.

The Society was formed in 1982 by a few enthusiasts bearing the name Pendrill or its derivatives, or who have descended through the female line. The Society is dedicated to researching family trees, and to establishing our lineage back to the five brothers who lived and worked at Boscobel House in Shropshire, and concealed King Charles II after his defeat at the battle of Worcester in 1651.
