Marc's interests with music started early in his high school days. Hating the uniformed curriculum of music lessons of the day, at home he preferred the excitement of Rock n Roll, which led him to a varied Rock'n'Roll career, part of which is playing Tribute to Buddy Holly. After leaving school, like Buddy Holly himself, Marc studied to be a Draughtsman and, also like Buddy, he is the youngest of four children. He formed a band and started performing all vintage Rock'n'Roll songs, all of which he had listened to as he grew up. As Marc played more and more of Buddy Holly, his audiences remarked on the similarities between himself and Buddy. He acquired the tailor made Holly suits, horned rimmed glasses and of course the Stratocaster guitar and Marc Robinson's Tribute to Buddy Holly was born and he has since spent his working life bringing Buddy Holly's music and character to the people of Britain, Europe and the Middle East. |
Barry was born in Selly Oak in the West Midlands, UK. In the 70s Barry joined the RAF in the 70's and served in Belgium, Germany, and Holland, as well as across the UK, It was whilst he was based at RAF Waddington that he met his wife Lynne, and it was in Lincoln that Lynne became aware that Barry had a fantastic voice, but it also became apparent that Barry was to shy to sing in public. Following his career in the RAF Barry returned to Birmingham with Lynne and their children, they settled in Halesowen, and it was on a family holiday in 2002 that Barry took the first steps on the road to becoming a professional singer, when Lynne and their daughter Leonie entered him in a singing competition, It was during that competition that a fellow competition said to him, "You know you sound just like Roy Orbison singing Robbie Williams!" So with the help of his wife, family, many friends and colleagues, a tribute to "The Dark Star" was born. Barry quickly became totally enveloped in the music and the sheer magic that was Roy Orbison, his aim was simple his vision was clear; to deliver Roy Orbison songs to Roy Orbison fans and in same manner as they were originally performed. Barry has toured the UK, New Zealand, and Denmark in his own shows, he also spent two years performing as Roy to rave reviews in the touring show "Rockin on Heavens Door" where he toured Holland, Belgium, Austria and Germany before leaving in March 2009 to take to the road in his own theatre show, "Roy Orbison and Friends" Roy Orbison and Friends popularity continues to grow as the show tours the UK and beyond to rave reviews from both the venues and patrons. Both Lynne and Barry are very proud of the show, the band and of course being able to bring the musical genius of Roy Orbison back to the centre stage again, we they both truly believe it belongs. |

Ronald Wycherley, a shy young boy from Liverpool, went on to become Billy Fury, one of Britains best loved rock stars. Furys Tornados were Billys longest serving band, backing him throughout the 70s. After Billy ceased touring through ill health, they split and went their separate ways, convinced that no one could ever come close to sounding or looking like their old friend, colleague and boss. In 1996 a young man appeared on national TV singing Halfway To Paradise. That man was Colin Gold and his voice and manner were good - very good. Of course, no one could ever replace Billy, but Colin has an uncanny natural vocal ability that both Furys Tornados and fans alike adore. A voice blessed from Heaven is how Brian Matthew described Colin when introducing the boys in 1999. After some months rehearsing, the show was born and on 14th February 1997 The Billy Fury Experience hit the stage. Billy's own band, Furys Tornados, perform his timeless hits - Last Night Was Made For Love, I Will, Wondrous Place, Jealousy, Halfway To Paradise and many, many more. Add the stunning voice of Colin Gold and you will have a night blessed by heaven |

Finding an Elvis Tribute is relatively easy, but to find one that actually sounds like him is extremely hard and that's what you get with my mate Sal. Sal is a professional singer and Elvis Tribute artist from East London who has been performing his tribute to Elvis for over 13 years. At the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2008 he was given an award for most outstanding performance. He has also starred in the BBCs The Worlds Greatest Elvis and on the BBCs Test The Nation with Anne Robinson and Phillip Schofield where he was selected from over 40 Elvis to sing Hound Dog live to over 10 million people!. His numerous TV appearances include: Channel 5, Sky, CBS, CNN, ITV Yorkshire & Central, and Radio 5 Live. He has also performed in front of 10,000 enthusiastic fans at London City Airport in 2004, 50,000 at the annual Slough firework show, and 25,000 at the Barking Indian Mela. In 2004 he performed by Royal Command at The Savoy, The Strand London on behalf of the CTBF (Cinema and Television benevolent Fund. It all started back in 1997 when he was spotted singing in a local bar and a promoter approached him with an offer to start up as an Elvis Tribute act. At first Sal politely refused (as he admits, the thought scared him to death!). A few months passed by and he was asked once again, and this time he wasted no time in accepting and performed his first show in Forest Gate in East London. Sal sayes "Elvis was and always shall remain unique, and while I do dress up in replica suits and costumes he wore, my main strength lies in trying to replicate his magnificent voice".
