Christian HERSCHE

Originally I thought that my line went Franziest-Hans- Andrew.
Now I have better documentation that says it is Franziest-Christian-
Christian. Therefore- these changes. Christian (born 1690) arrived
in Philadelphia in 1739.

All: . Christian HERSCHE

All: Land Records name children and daughters husbands (Deed Z-121)

All: Christian arrived in America later than his family because he was "forced to
remain behind at the Court." He arrived in Philadelphia on 3 Sep 1739 on the
ship Robert and Alice (Ralph B. Strassburger, William J. Hinke, Editor,
"Pennsylvania German Pioneers", Vol I, page 267.)

All: Birth and Spouse: IGI Film 1396432, Batch F500028 31

All: Christian and his family lived in Manheim Twp., Lancaster Co., Penn.

All: 1n 1709, Christian was with his mother and father in the Friedelsheim, Germany Congregation. He was 17 years of age at this time.

Also, originally, I thought my 4th gg father was Andrew Hersche not Christian. Judith Hart had better info.

Esther EGLE (EGLI)

All:
Esther EGLE (EGLI)

All: Esther's will was written on 4 Mar 1768. She divided her estate equally among her children, mentioning by name her sons Abraham and Benjamin. Witnesses to her will were Abraham Neff, Christian Hershey and Benjamin Hershey. (Lancaster Co. Will Y-2-313, 1792, Will of Esther Hershey.)

All: Abraham Egli was the only known Mennonite named Egli living in the Pfalz at the time period when Esther married Christian Hershey, so it is very likely that Abraham was the father of Esther.
