Cecil and Lura were married at "Wee kirk o' the Heather" at Forest Lawn
Memorial Park in Glendale, Los Angeles, California. Lura is still living
in San Clemente as of 7 Apr 1996. Cecil died 3 Apr 1996 and the funeral
was held at the same place that they were married on 2 Oct 1934--62 years
earlier.
Lura grew up in Los Angeles and Santa Monica. Upon her death, she had 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The funeral service took place at Forest Lawn Cem.,in Glendale,California at the "Wee kirk o' the Heather Chapel" , the same place they were married in 1934.
