All: The first Carl ancestor to arrive in Canada was John Carl in the late 1700's. Betty Harley, Marilyn Speck, and Stanley Gould state that their gggg grandmother's marker was the only found in the Carl cemetery in 1995. They can count 75 indentations of unmarked graves in the land. The slab markers had been taken away by persons unknown and we are left with a record of nine names buried there. These came from other family histories. Members of the Gould and Misener family are also buried there.
