He was a German Lieutenant and left Germany for Norway in his early twenties. 400 years before Johann Ludwig Von Weltzin was born there was a Knight Deneke de Weltzin --1270-1309, married to a Bertha Passage was secured on the sailing ship URANIA out of the port of Stavanger, Norway.
