In my effort to learn more about Adobe Acrobat PDF
(portable document format) I have run across many exciting links and sources of
information. This quest for knowlege began when I wanted to learn to publish my own geneaology documents on the web--and let people read and download my family's
history books. I have written two books-one of my Pierce tree and one of my Faus family tree
(Faus Book is not complete and is not designed for onscreen reading).(neither are

I like acrobat because my documents are non-editable, and
non-printable but they still can be universally downloaded and read by
everyone. You can decide who prints or copies your work, and soon you will be able to
determine the number of times a document is printed! Adobe Acrobat .PDF documents meet
these requirements in almost every way. The main source of information for the
novice of course should be:

The free
acrobat reader can be downloaded here. Adobe Acrobat 3.0 (exchange) is need to actually
make .PDF documents although there are some other ways
