(Robert M. Cooke was a 2nd Lt in a MS Volunteer Infantry Company in the Mexican War, 1847. He was married to Martha Armstrong on 6/19/1858. He served in the Confederate Army, 1861-1865. He was elected Justice of the Peace in 1858 & was Dallas County Surveyor from 1873-1878.)
