Frances SELF married Eliza CRANNETT. Their son Thomas SELF was born about 1758 and died in Russell County, Virginia on March 13, 1836. On December 10, 1779 Thomas married Onesiphorus(Oney) HAM. She was born about 1760 in Amelia County Virginia. I know of three children that the couple had.
Burwell born 1785 in Pittsylvania County Virginia. He married Elizabeth HAY.
Elzenia(Seany) born about 1795 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. On September 30, 1822 in Pittsylvania County, she married John Wesley HAY. Elzenia died in 1875 in Russell County, Virginia.
James Mastin born 1795, died 1844.
John Wesley and Elzenia SELF HAY had the following children:
1. Ambrose Wilson Hay born July 30, 1830 in Russell County VA. He married Phoebe Counts on Mar 2, 1904. Ambrose died about 1880.
2. John Wesley Hay was born November 29, 1831 in Russell County, VA. He died about 1915 in Lincoln Co. WV. On October 5, 1855, he married Rachel Counts, sister to Phoebe Counts.
3. Sally(might be named Sarah) was born about 1829 in Russell County VA. She married John Phillips about 1852 in Russell County VA.
