Description: DSCAM/3/353/1: Probate (3 Aug. 1827) of the will (dated 6 Apr. 1825) of Evan Roberts of Dudley, Worcs., victualler and maltster. Household effects, stock-in-trade and personal estate to wife, Mary Roberts, during widowhood, to support herself and children, she executing a bond for the net value, payable on her remarriage or death; real estate upon trust for wife during widowhood; then all estate upon trust for sale; proceeds to children, Mary Roberts, William Roberts, Thomas Roberts, Elizabeth Roberts and Evan Roberts, at the age of 21 etc. Executors: Joseph Cooke of Dudley, saddler and Thomas Grigg of the same, blacksmith, and wife (until remarriage). Codicil (dated 1 Sept. 1825) appointing Joshua Harvey of Dudley, ironfounder in place of Joseph Cooke.
