George Henry Platt joined the British Army Territorial Force on 30th March, 1909 for a period of 4 years. He served with the Westmorland & Cumberland Yeomanry, Regimental No. 3026.
George campaigned in Alexandria & Gallipoli from July, 1915 to November, 1916.
George was awarded the 1914-15 Star, the British War Medal and the Victory Medal.
