[N1670] had a successful fireworks factory outside Prague in the village of Premyslen
(link), hence was a sitting duck when the Nazis arrived: He and grandma were
brutally murdered, the factory stolen of course and was used to apparently make
most of Germany's war signal flares, killing many more - a double ouch. Here is
a small memorial to the war dead of the village opposite town hall, my
grandparents are listed. [From Peter Sever's blog]

"The Jewish population up to 18 century did not occur in the country too and
most are held in cities or in their immediate vicinity. Expulsion of Jews Maria
Theresa and the same pogrom in 1774 in Prague, but the Jewish population
strongly scattered throughout the countryside. Although the ban was revoked a
couple of years, Jews have returned to Prague substantially less than they
left, and most so taken root in other cities and especially being in the
country. In particular, according to the Terriers, however, moving to the
country banks only minimally affected, respectively, in the longer term, when
lords pub no 11 bought in 1787 by Josef Fink and 22 years it operated. The
Jewish neighborhood of the previous (before 1774) reminds us of the "list of
faith" in 1671, which features two banks of the Jews (the two men while
sedentary, making it likely the two families) or point us to it two names
Samuel in No. 2 in 1713 to 1777, when that year was recorded in this house ....
John Samek Podlozitelnejs wave of Jewish neighbors came after 1848. In no 23,
settled in 1851 by Emanuel Winternitz and his house in 1876 it passed to his
daughter Wilhelmine and her upcoming Salomon Pick. They kept the house until
her death (1900), but their only daughter married to Richard Pavlina Popper in
the same year the house is sold. The major track in the local social and
economic life of the owners left the aforementioned manor inn no 11th That
bought in 1849 Weisensten Moses, who married his daughter and gave his property
Kopperlovi Alexander, who came from a distinguished and wealthy Jewish families
settled in the Pardubice region. He apparently brought into the business and
financial capital, so in addition to the inn and associated chandlery (general
store) to select the newly created trade in men's and women's clothing and
textile trade in building materials, and apparently the most profitable
production of spirits. After a fire in 1901, his son Joseph has the original
building no Significantly expanded to include 11 No. 101 and 107, when one of
them had built the theater and then built a new armory for the local
firefighters. Water is also co-founder of cooperatives, credit unions or
economic brezsk-reading discussions that banks earned in establishing the
foundation of various associations and libraries. Its capabilities and business
transactions or social merits of the village could be especially with the
passing of the official materials of the first half of the 20th century speak
for a long time. Kopperlov remained faithful to the village, although its main
store moved to Prelouce, where he built a department store. A distinct
personality of the house and also the last Kopperlu that after 2 World War II,
he returned to shore, was Ernest Kopperl. He fled to France from fascism and
Hitler after the cast on to England, where he served in the Czechoslovak army
units, reaching the rank of major. After the war he returned back, but after
1948 most of his property confiscated by communists in 1963 and he left no
property only 107th Until 1966 the arcade as Ernest lived in a retirement home
Prelouc. Kopperlov and other Jews from the shore also contributed to the
construction of a Jewish cemetery in the field in the Holy Prelouc, where he is
buried most of them."
