My grandaunt, Rebecca Laura Barrett, married William Krueger. Krueger was a native of Beaver Dam, and Laura returned with him to live in his home town. They lived at 112 Gould Street and later at the old Krueger family home at 112 South University Avenue. Laura died at 112 South University Avenue on 18 January 1938, and was buried in the Krueger family plot at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
I visited Beaver Dam in 2003, and found it a pleasant town.
