Family History
Our Barrett family lived in Cedarburg from sometime before 1847 till the 1880s, when my 2nd-great-grandmother Ann Quinn Barrett and her children moved to Milwaukee. In March 2004, I discovered that my great-granduncle Thomas Barrett (1847-1863) had a godmother named Juliana Quinn, so it's possible that Ann (a native of County Cork) had relatives in this area, too.
I have not established the relationship, if any, of my 2nd-great-grandfather William Barrett to the other Barretts in Cedarburg, but hope to do so in time.
The Barretts were members of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Cedarburg.
