Guardianship of Minor Heirs of Aaron Vickery

In County Court pertaining to the estates, descendants & Wards 
August Term 1850 
To the Chief Justice 
Mary Vickery, your petitioner represents that she is the natural mother of Matthew, Hardin, Vance, Lucinda & --?-- (Jane). The children and minor heirs of Aaron Vickery deceased, that said minors have no guardian as yet appointed.  That there are other adult heirs of the estate of the said Aaron Vickery.  That the said adult heirs desire the partition of said estate and a guardian is (cannot read) of the estate of said minors in order to represent and protect their interest in said partition.  Petitioner therefore prays to be appointed guardian of the person and property of said minor heirs and as in duty bound be.
