"Drewey Hendrix was fatally injured in an automobile accident Saturday morning, June 28, 1952, at approximately 9 am on Highway 69, below Warren.  He died in the Woodville hospital where he was taken following the accident.
     "Funeral services were held at 3 pm Sunday afternoon, June 29 with Rev. Clyde Thompson and Craig Fortenberry officiating.
     "Drewy was born in Polk County, lived at Big Sandy and was working at Warren.
     "Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rance Hendrix, six brothers, Elias, L. Z., Ady, Dolphus, and Wiltz, all of Dallardsville and Early of Houston, one sister, Mrs. Ida Williams of Segno.
     "Serving as pallbearers were Bethel, T.J., Hobby, Zaron, Elton, and L.D. Hendrix."
