Emory Jasper, 5, is Victim of the Flu
Services Held at Montague Church Saturday
Afternoon for son of Sid Jasper.
Emery, five-year-old son of Sid Jasper of this
city died at his home at 4 o'clock Saturday morning, following three
week's illness of influenza.
Rev. R. E. Griffin, pastor of the Church of Christ at Humble, conducted
funeral services at Montague church at 3:30 Saturday afternoon and
interment was made in Montague cemetery, beside that of his mother, who
preceded him in death July 12, of last year.
Besides his father the little fellow is survived
by a little brother, Herman
Sidney and a little sister, Betty Jean, two half sisters, Miss Rosalie
Jasper
and Mrs. Bess May Stevens all of Cleveland, and his grandmother, Mrs.
D. A. Thomas of Livingston.
