Mrs. Tribe of Ace buried May 11th in Shepherd 

    "Mrs. Sara Ethel Tribe, 66 years of age, died at home at Ace, Texas, Monday, May 9th.  Mrs. Tribe was born July 12, 1882, and was the daughter of Dr. W. H. Beazley and the former Virginia Carr, two of the oldest citizens of Polk County. 
    Funeral services were held at the First Methodist Church Wednesday, May 11th, at 3:00 p.m.  This is the same church in which Mrs. Tribe was married April 25, 1900.  She united with the Methodist Church at an early age and was a devout Christian worker throughout her life.  Ministers officiating were the Rev. J. Paul Brown of the Highlands Methodist Church and assisted by Bro. Sterling of Ace. 
    Survivors are her husband, W. H. Tribe; one daughter, Mrs. W.H. Champson of Houston; three sons:  R. B. Tribe of Ace, Gene of Houston, and Hamilton of Highlands; three sisters: Mrs. Frank Barron of Livingston, Mrs. Carrie Belle Hooper of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. E. C. Lyle of Houston. 
Nine grandchildren also survive. 
    Pallbearers serving were: Frank Barron, Hershel Gates, Boyson Ettie, C. G. Hall, Jr., Ed Lyle, Roy Benard, A. C. Hagler and Gordon Munson. 
    Interment was in the Shepherd Cemetery adjoining the church. "
