Services Held Saturday For Buford Bandy
Services for Buford O. Bandy, 47, a Portland construction worker, were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wilkinson and Wiseman Funeral Home with burial in Old Brush Cemetery. Mr. Bandy died Wednesday, December 25th at his home after a heart attack. Survivors include a son, Wayne Bandy, U.S. Air Force, Texas; a daughter , Miss Gloria Bandy, Nashville; a sister, Mrs. Lex Upchurch, Portland; two brothers, Raymond, Portland, and L. C. Bandy, Titusville, Fla., and a grandchild. A native of Sumner County, he was a son of the late Chester and Vallie Johnson Bandy. Mr. Bandy was a heavy equipment operator.
