Wednesday, July 13, 1960 at her home in Tampa, FL, Mrs. W. K. (Annie Durrett) Blackard, aged 81 years. Survived by husband W. K. Blackard, Tampa; brothers H. E. Durrett, Tampa, L. D. Durrett, Portland, Tenn., S. N. Durrett, White House, 3 grandchildren. Remains will arrive in Nashville Saturday morning, July 16, at 8:30 and will be carried to Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, White House, where funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. by J. B. Gaither. Nephews will serve as pallbrearers. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Cole & Garrett, Funeral Directors, White House.
*Annie Durrett Blackard was the only daughter of Francis E. Durrett and Ann Elizabeth M. Ackerman. She was born 1 March 1879 in Davidson County, TN. She married W. K. (Bill) Blackard in Robertson County, TN on 19 April 1903.
