CLEAR VIEW

On the morning of Sept. 3rd as the sun spread its rays of beautiful light that lit up the landscape, God in his infinite wisdom, mercy and love has seen fit to call from our midst the spirit of our friend and neighbor, Mrs. Evelyn Briley known as (Aunt Lina) a woman honored and loved by a devoted family circle and held it high esteem by the community in which she lived. To our knowledge she has led a true Christian life for a number of years and has served her God and country in a manner that has won for the confidence of all who knew her, also the love of the neighborhood, but above all a home with those who are at the right hand of God who knows no more sorrow or pain. Whose life I know was a glowing example of the Golden Rule.

She has gone from us on earth forever no more to council or advise us, no more to watch beside us so untiringly, no more to nurse and care for you so tenderly, always ready to forget self in behalf of others.

How we will miss her and how sad to live without her. But God called her home and his will, not ours, be done. So let us strive to live as she lives. Her life was a worthy of example.
