Death of Mrs. Cynthia Austin
Mrs. Cynthia Austin, who was taken to Nashville for an operation last Friday at the St. Thomas Hospital, died two hours after the operation. Interment at Halltown last Saturday. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. J. Lewis. She is survived by her husband, Rev. G. H. Austin, and one daughter, Mrs. Edgar Harris.
At the time of her death she was 69 years of age. She was the last survivor of the J. B. McGlothlin family of twelve children. She was a very active member of the General Baptist church during her life. A large number of friends followed her remains to the cemetery.
