Mrs. John E. Adcock
The death of Mrs. John E. Adcock occurred May 20th at her home near Bransford.
The deceased was 35 years of age and is survived by her husband and several
children.
A Sad Death.
Much regret is occasioned here by the untimely death of Annie Carr, little
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James D. Whiteside, which occurred suddenly Saturday
night about 12 o'clock. She was a bright little girl, two years of age and
the only child. Burial took place at the Gallatin Cemetery Monday afternoon
at 4 o'clock.
Mrs. C. F. Webb
News has been received here of the death of Mrs. C. F. Webb, wife of Prof.
C. F. Webb of Forth Worth, Texas. Before her marriage Mrs. Webb was Miss
Blake and with her husband taught at Howard Female College in 1899-1900.
Beside her husband the deceased is survived by one child, a daughter, eleven
years old, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Blake and two sisters,
Mrs. S. S. Hall of Dallas and Miss Martha Blake of Ft. Worth, who formerly
taught at Howard College.
Passes to His Reward - Dr. H. B. Boude, Former Gallatin Minister, Dies at Home in Missouri. Dr. Henry B. Boude, who had been a distinguished minister of the Southern Presbyterian Church, and a gallant soldier of the Confederacy, died late Monday night at his home in this city For the past four years he had lived at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C. D. McCoy. He was in his seventy-ninth year when he died. Born in Augusta, Ky. Dr. Boude served the Confederacy four years. He was Captain of a company in the same Tennessee regiment with John N. Southern of this city. His wife, Mrs. Eleanor Boude, died fourteen years ago while they were living in Springfield. His children, besides Mrs. McCoy, were Mrs. Lewis Megede, of Richmond, Mo., and Mrs. J. Wallace Moore, of Sherman, Tx. He was a active Mason. Dr. Boude was taken to Springfield for burial.
In Memoriam.
Died Thursday morning, May 23rd at his country home near Rives, Tennessee
Mr. William B. Moss, eldest son of the late W. F. Moss, of Bethpage. He left
a widow and four children, three sons and one daughter.

F. M. Perdue - The death of Mr. F. M. Perdue occurred at his home near Portland on Saturday morning, June 1st. Mr. Perdue was born May 8, 1841. He was a highly esteemed citizen.
Wyatt Rose - News has been received her of the death of Wyatt Rose who moved to Oklahoma City several years ago. The deceased and his family have many friends here who regret to learn of the sad accident.
Died in witness stand - Springfield, Tenn., June 7th. While seated in the witness chair in Circuit Court room this afternoon about 3:30 o'clock. Henry Clay Draunhon, a well known citizen of Springfield, suffered a stroke and died before medical attention could reach him.

George Rodemer, a former citizen of Gallatin died at the home of relatives in Nashville last Sunday. The deceased was 65 years of age and a brother of C. H. Rodemer of Gallatin. Burial took place at the Gallatin Cemetery Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
Mrs. E. D. Payne - The many friends of the family here regret to learn of the death of Mrs. E. D. Payne, mother of Mr. Lewis Payne, which occurred at Knoxville last Thursday. In recent years she had spent much time here in Gallatin. Mrs. Elizabeth Dismukes Payne, widow of the late R. S. Payne, died at her residence, 611 Locust Street, Thursday morning at 9 o'clock from heart trouble. She was born in Edgefield Junction and came to Knoxville in 1868. Her late husband died in Texas where he went to seeking health, March 30, 1896. Mrs. Payne was the mother of the late Reuben S. Payne, Jr., who died June 30th, 1900. She was also the mother of Mrs. Pauline Payne Maynard, who died August 24, 1900, and of the late Sam D. Payne who died about 1903. Mrs. Payne is survived by one son, Louis B. Payne and grandchildren, Pauline and Reuben Payne and Pauline and Elizabeth Maynard. Brothers who survive are Samuel C. Dismukes, at Knoxville, David B. Dismukes, of Edgefield Junction and Dr. William Dismukes of Nashville. Taken from the Knoxville Sentinel.
Edgar M. Biggs - The death of Edgar M. Biggs, son of Mr. R. J. Biggs of Gallatin occurred her Tuesday at 10 o'clock. He was ten years of age. The burial was at Franklin, Ky. yesterday at 11 a. m.

Aged Negro Dead - Aunt Eliza Calhoun, a respected Negro of this place, died Monday. She was 75 years old, had been a member of the church since fifteen, and was the mother of fourteen children.
Passed into Great Beyond - Mrs. Ed. S. Gardner Dies at Her Summer Home in Michigan. - Mrs. Mary Murphy Gardner, wife of Ed. S. Gardner, proprietor of Avondale and one of Sumner's most prominent citizens, died Sunday at her summer home at Wequetonsing, Mich. Her death had occurred before she had been there two weeks. Three years ago her mother, Mrs. John A. Murphy of Cincinnati, met her death in falling through an elevator shaft. Mrs. Gardner finished her school days in New York. Her marriage to Mr. Gardner, in Cincinnati, about sixteen years ago. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Elizabeth and Edwin S. Gardner, Jr. and a sister, Mrs. John Kilbreath of New York.
