Clyde McDole, 50, a resident of Portland. died at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville; Sunday, August 11, after about three months illness. He had been in the hospital only a few days. Funeral services were conducted here at the Methodist church the following day with the Reverends W. O. Largen and R. L. Hudson in charge. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Rena Parker McDole; two daughters, Mrs. Inez Rippy of Nashville, and Irene McDole of Portland; father, John McDole of Westmoreland; Mrs. Dee Harper and two half-sisters; brother, Carlos McDole and three half brothers. Mr. McDole was a member and active in the affairs of the W. O. W. lodge. He was a native of Macon county and burial was in Eulia cemetery.
