Funeral Services For Jim Moore
Funeral services for Mr. Jim Moore, 67, retired miller and merchant at Portland, were conducted at the residence in Portland Friday afternoon, December 20, by the Rev. W. O. Largen, pastor of the Portland Methodist Church. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery. Moore died Wednesday at the Fountain Head Sanitarium from a complication of diseases after several months illness. Survivors are, his wife, Mrs. Carrie Ray Moore, two daughters, Mrs. John Martin of Roanoke, Va., and Mrs. Oakley Merryman of Murfreesboro; three sons, James of Paris, Ky.; Russell of Cynthiana, Ky.; and Harry of Portland; one sister, Mrs. H. M. Moore, and one brother, B. O. Moore, both of Portland.
