Mrs. Roy R. Pitchford
Mattie L. Link, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Link. dec'd., was born July 21, 1880; was married to Roy R. Pitchford June 19, 1902, died September 22, 1918, at her borne in Scottsville. Ky. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband and six small children, two brothers, J. P. Link of Scottsville, Ky., M. T. Link, of Bentonia. Miss., and three sisters, Mrs. Anne Pitt of Dyer, Tenn., Miss Susie Link, of Nashville, and Mrs. C. J. Jackson, of this place. Funeral services were conducted in her home at noon Monday by her pastor. Ret. Carnet, of the Baptist church, and her body laid to rest in the Scottsville cemetery. All was done that loving hands knew to do, but this one precious jewel was more needed by the Master she served so well and He took her home.
