In Loving Memory

On Saturday morning, October 11th, while every one so silently slept, the death Angel crept softly into the home of Mr. Lee Rogers and called away a devoted wife and loving mother, Mrs. Bessie Wallace Rogers. She was a kind neighbor, a thoughtful friend and a constant helper to the ones in need. Besides her grief-stricken husband and children she leaves a host of other loved ones and friends to mourn her going away. Mrs. Bessie will not only be missed in her home and in her children's homes, but her kind and smiling face will be missed in her church where she was a loyal member, and attended as often as she could in spite of her ill health. Her bright testimonies will be greatly missed by all who go to Mt. Pleasant. May her passing on be instrumental in leading others in the path she so faithfully trod. Our loss is surely Heaven's gain. All tho our hearts are made to grief. May we strive to strike hands with her on the other side, where there will be no more  sad partings and good bys. May all her neighbors and friends, who will miss her more than words can express, try to do as she would have done, help to brighten the way for the family she left behind. - One Who Loved Her.
