Mrs. Willie McKamie White, wife of J. Kirby White, died at noon Tuesday at their home on Smith Street, following a long illness. The deceased was 49 years of age and a daughter of William McKamie, for many years a prominent citizen of this county. She was a faithful member of the Gallatin Methodist Church and was a highly esteemed Christian lady. She is survived by her husband and by several brothers and sisters. Funeral services were at the residence at 2:30 o'clock p.m. yesterday, conducted by Rev. R. H. Hudgens. The burial was at the Gallatin Cemetery.
