1838RB: John no wife or children
1861RB: John 4M 2F
1871RB: John 64, John 28, William 26, Peter D. 17, Alexandrine 25, Mary 22, Elizabeth 17
Notes: John died in 1873 at age 78. Olive died in 1858 at age 43.
Contradictory information for Marie Gertrude. 1-Record for Descousse shows marriage of Gertrude Beranger, oldest daughter of Jean Beranger and Olive Landry, Parish of River Bourgeois, to Firman Petitpas husband of late Marguerite Biret, Aug 13, 1866. 2-Record for Descousse shows death of Marie Gertrude Beranger in 1870 age 26 wife of Firman Petitpas (consistent with 1). Record for River Bourgeois shows marriage of Maria Beranger, daughter of Jean and Olive Landry, to Abraham Burke, son of Gilbert and Elizabeth Sampson, Jan 10, 1876 (this contradicts 1 and 2).

Given the close proximity of the two later births and the fact that no death was recorded, it was concluded that the second birth entry was in error.
