Note: 1812. Cordeau, Lilly. Petitioner is a native of D'Escousse, age 37, with 7 children. He lost all his belongings in the storm the preceding September. He was invited by his brother-in-law Mathew Balang to share a farm on the Island of Barrachois-de-Couteau near Bourgeois River. He built a house and lives there with his family. Balang sold to Thomas Thomas and removed to Tracadie (80 acres on half a peninsula on northside of Lennox Passage called I'le des Coteaux, Plan 1817).
