Support for Conclusion:
- It is not known when Robert King, Snr wrote his will (probated in 1725). His wife Sarah died in late 1700 and he never remarried. It appears that Arthur never took possession of the land that was to be bequeathed to him as the land "by the death of the said Arthur descended to Robert King, Jnr". Therefore, it is reasonable to assume that Arthur was deceased when his father died - 1725 or before.
- The obvious question is "if Arthur died up to 7 or 8 years prior to the death of his father Robert, Snr; why did Robert, Snr not amend his Will?" I do not know, but speculate that he knew that the land would descend to Robert Jnr - perhaps his oldest son and therefore decided to do nothing.
If Arthur had been alive in 1725 at the death of his father, the land would have gone to Arthur, and then when Arthur died, the land would have gone to his heirs - not his brother Robert, Jnr.
