[NI156635] From "More Palatine Families" by Henry Z. Jones, Jr., it appears as if Caspar was the father of Jacob, Matthias & John. Also, the Housel (Housshell, Hauschildt, Hauchildt,) family apparently came from the area near Neuwied. Jacob (Houselt) & Johannes were nat'lized in 1730, & Matthias in 1744, by acts of the NJ state legislature. Non-citizens were not legally able to own land, & the state decided to nat'lize residents by legislative action to legalize their land holdings.

[NI157099] Abraham Knerr came to Lowhill, Northampton/Lehigh Co.,PA
Abraham Knerr came to Lowhill, Northampton/Lehigh Co.,PA in 1748 probably from the German part of Switzerland, some time previous to the year 1748, & settled in the eastern part of Weissenberg, abt a quarter of a mile from the present village of Claussville, on a tract of land called by him Pleasant View, which is now (1884) owned by hisgreat-grandson, Levi Knerr, of Claussville. He took up large tracts of land & divided them among his chldn. He had a large family of sons & daugs, among whom were the following: Christopher, who married, had several chldn, & then moved to other parts; John Jacob, who probably went to other parts before he was m; Andreas, who m a Miss Schall & settled at the Jordan, & became the father of the Jordan branch of the Knerr family; Abraham, who settled at what has since become the village of Lyon Valley; & John, who received the old homestead.
