[NF10807] Brian Martin and Loretta McCormick: Brian & Loretta were married at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at Saint JamesChurch in Solana Beach, Ca. The Best man was Rod Soriano, the groomsmen were: Shawn Laughran, Mike Richardson, Hiroshi, Patrick McCormick, & Kyle McCormick, the ring bearer was Andrew. The Maid of Honor was Angie, the bridesmaids were: Cynthia, Britt, Nadia, Erin McCormick & Becky McCormick, the flower girls were: Theresa Fleming, Stephanie Fleming & Amanda Fairhurst. Loretta was wearing an off-white Renaissance style dress that was absolutely gorgeous (all the girls dresses were made by her mother Peggy). The Bridesmaids and flower girls were dressed in lavender and three shades of green. The wedding was followed by a wonderful reception at the Hotel L'Auberge in the Crosby Ballroom. They went to Jamaica for their honeymoon.

Cora didn't show up for a long time, finally Roy called her, she said she had forgotten what time she was to have met him. Then when they were abt to be m, Roy discovered he had forgotten to bring license with him, so he sent his bro Ross Gaston, home to Conemaugh to get it. Ross had to take Dale Street Car to Johnstown, then Southern Cambria Rail Car to Conemaugh & back to Dale. The preacher & wedding party had a nice long visit.

Both are still fairly active. Mrs. Yoder, 79, does all her cooking & dishwashing. Her daug helps out with housecleaning tasks. Mr. Yoder, 88 next fall, cares for a garden ea summer. He and the former Izora Kauffman were m Feb 26 1888, Salix. They have since lived here in South Fork. Mr. Yoder operated a farm & also worked as a miner & teamster. He is a strong Republican & only twice missed going to the polls since he started to vote in 1881. The Yoders had 16 chldn, 10 of whom are living: Mrs. H. A. Ripple, Homer City; Mrs. Charles Allenbaugh, Turtle Creek; Mrs. Gus Davis, Irwin; Mrs. William Burkey & Mrs. Paul Gilpatrick, Mt. Hope; H. R. & Milton Yoder & Mrs. M. J.
