"Joseph and Anna Loewenstein emigrated from Russia (Kathy adds that both Russia and Germany have been shown on census records) in 1886 with six children. They went to Texas where there 7th child was born. -- moved to Kansas where there son Frank Loewenstein met and married Kate Brown. They both passed away in Sharon, Kansas."According to Beverly (Loewenstein) Ricke; the Loewenstein's were German but for some reason had to go to Russia in order to immigrate to the United States.
