LEVI JACKSON was born in North Carolina ca 1780, his parents are unknown.   He moved to Georgia with his family, was separated when he went South to Florida, and eventually lost all track of his relatives.  A grandson wrote in 1901 that Levi had three sons and two daughters.  In 1802, Levi and Joseph Jackson were listed on the Tax Rolls of Jefferson County, Georgia.  As Levi's oldest son Josiah was born in Georgia in 1802 and this was the only county where a Levi Jackson appeared, on might assume they are on and the same.  In 1820, Levi Jackson was living in Conech County, Alabama with

                                                                            Three Males under 21 - Josiah, Joseph, Allen
                                                                            One Female over 21 - Levi's Wife
                                                                            One Female under 21 - Either Mary or Helen?

In 1830, Levi Jackson was still in Conech County, Alabama.
