NIMROD YARBROUGH

NIMROD YARBROUGH, was born about 1775 in Cumberland County, North Carolina. He married JANE (last name unknown). They help organize the Macedonia Baptist Church in 1835, Chambers County, Alabama. In 1845 they were run out of the Baptist Church for disagreeing with the elders.

Limited information is available on the children of Nimrod Yarbrough. It seems they remained mostly in the Georgia and Alabama area. There are a few exceptions which are recorded here.

2. NIMROD BILLINGTON YARBROUGH, second child of Nimrod and Jane Yarbrough, was born in Georgia on July 14, 1803. He married SARAH PORTER BLACKSTONE on September 20, 1826 in Crawford County, Georgia. He was a confederate soldier in the Civil War and was killed, age 61, in September 1864 in the Battle of Atlanta. Sarah's parents were JOHN BLACKSTONE, born about 1771 died 1859 and KATHERINE HARVEY born about 1782 died 1878. Sarah Blackstone Yarbrough migrated to Texas and died at the age of 61 on November 11, 1876 in Brownwood, Texas.

d. ISADORE G. YARBROUGH, fourth child of Nimrod Billington and Sarah Yarbrough, was born July 11, 1835 in Georgia. She married DANIEL HENRY NEWMAN on December 28, 1852 in Coosa County, Alabama. Daniel and Isadore Newman came to Texas and settled in Appleby, Nacogdoches County, Texas. The record of the lineage of Daniel Henry and Isadore Newman is found in publications in the Angelina County Library, Garrison Library, Nacogdoches County and other various libraries.

i. NIMROD PINCHNEY YARBROUGH, ninth child of Nimrod Billington and Sarah Yarbrough, was born March 24, 1847. He married FLORA ANN NEWMAN BRANDON on September 1, 1870 in Nacogdoches County, Texas. His sister married Daniel Henry Newman, brother of Flora Ann Newman. Flora Ann Newman was born June 26, 1842. Nimrod was a prisoner of War and paroled at Meridian, Mississippi on May 16, 1865. He operated a ferry for a time. He was considered a great "fiddler" and won at least one contest in Tyler, Texas. Flora Ann died March 25, 1900. After his wife, Flora, died he lived with his daughter Flora, who was a young widow. They record his death certificate in Cherokee County, Texas on March 24, 1924. Nimrod and Flora Yarbrough are buried in Newman Cemetery, Lufkin, Texas.

JOHN BLACKSTONE YARBROUGH

1) JOHN BLACKSTONE YARBROUGH, first child of Nimrod Pinckney and Flora Ann Brandon Yarbrough, was born March 17, 1874. He married ANNA CAIN in October 1896. Anna died in 1967. John died on August 1, 1962.

Very little is known about the children of John and Anna Cain Yarbrough. It is believed they left home at an early age. TROY YARBROUGH lived in Washington State. REAGAN YARBROUGH lived and raised his family in the Houston area. A Houston police officer could be his son or grandson. It was known that he had two boys that were police officers. It is believed that ASHLEY YARBROUGH died in World War I. TULLY YARBROUGH had two sons but additional information is not found.

LOU ALMA YARBROUGH

2) LOU ALMA YARBROUGH, second child of Nimrod Pinckney and Flora Ann Yarbrough, was born March 8, 1882. Her name is found to be recorded as ALMA LOUISE YARBROUGH in other publications as well as LOU ALMA. Since it is not known which is correct LOU ALMA will be used in this work. Lou Alma married EVERET MILO CREEKMORE on September 2, 1902. Source: Account written by T.V. CREEKMORE, son of E.M. CREEKMORE-- "MILO CREEKMORE'S first job was driving horse cars across the Arkansas River between Van Buren and Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Later, he became Clerk of Court in the Court of Judge Isaac Parker, known as the "Hanging Judge" . He later became deputy U.S. Marshall for the same court and was with the posse which shot and killed Ned Christie, the Oklahoma bandit. In 1900, he went to Galveston, Texas, got a job on a ship carrying horses to the British Army and served in the Boar War in South Africa under Lord Kitchener. He received the Silver Victoria Medal for his service in the war. In 1902, he became a locomotive engineer for the Bodon Lumber Company in Pollok, Texas, and lived in a logging camp near the confluence of Wire Creek and the Neches River in Cherokee County. In 1917, he went to work as an engineer for the Chronister Lumber Company at Wildhurst in Cherokee County and live there until his death" Information from DICK CREEKMORE-- Shortly before his death, he suffered a head injury while working at his job as an engineer. Because of the pain from this injury, he died of a self-inflected wound to the head. He was 60 years old." He died May 10, 1931 in Wells, Cherokee County, Texas and is buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Wells, Texas. Alma Attended school at Crawford's Creek School House, Lufkin, Texas. And died in a nursing home in Tyler, Smith County, Texas in August 1975. She is buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Wells, Texas.

2a THOMAS VANOY CREEKMORE, second child of Milo Everet and Alma Creekmore, was born March 17, 1906. Thomas married ANNELLA HOOKS on March 12, 1932 in Angelina County, Texas. He died October 31, 1993 in Silsbee, Hardin County, Texas. Annella was born October 28, 1913 in Alto, Cherokee County, Texas.

1b LARRY GENE CREEKMORE, first child of Thomas and Annella Creekmore, was born December 29, 1932. He married RUBY SHUTTER. To this union DEBBIE ROXANNE and LARRIE JAN CREEKMORE were born May 17, 1954 and October 17, 1957. Larry Gene married second time JUNE LUCAS and LAWRENCE EUGENE CREEKMORE was born March 3, 1966 and died March 8, 1966. Larry Gene later married MARION ELIZABETH DENNY and to this union was born PAGE ELIZABETH CREEKMORE on August 20, 1969.

2b THOMAS VANOY CREEKMORE, JR., second child of Thomas and Annella Creekmore, was born August 30, 1934. He married DIANE JAMES. To this union ANNELLA BETH, THOMAS VANNOY, CARLA GAIL and JAYNE CREEKMORE were born March 30, 1955, May 7, 1958, May 29, 1958 and November 5, 1960.

3b JERRY PATRICK CREEKMORE, third child of Thomas and Annella Creekmore, was born April 19, 1936. He married ELAINE JONES. To this union was born MARILYN, JERRY PATRICK, JR. and MEREDITH TRENT CREEKMORE on April 7, 1959, December 14, 1962 and February 19, 1968.

4b TERRY JOHN CREEKMORE, fourth child of Thomas and Annella Creekmore, was born November 18. 1945. He married GLORIA WILLIAMS. No other data available.

5b MERRY ANNELLA CREEKMORE, fifth child of Thomas and Annella Creekmore, was born December 15, 1947. She married JAMES EMMET BALDWIN. To this union MERRY SHANNON, THOMAS WOODARD and JAMES MADISON BALDWIN were born November 27, 1969, September 24, 1973 and October 8, 1975.

3a PINCKNEY BROWN CREEKMORE, third child of Lou Alma and Milo Everet Creekmore, was born August 21, 1909 in Camp Thompson Sawmill Camp, Forest, Cherokee County, Texas. He married MAYME BELL RHODES on July 23, 1932 in Angelina County, Texas. She was born March 31, 1914 in Forest, Cherokee County, Texas. Her parents were NEWTON EDWARD THODES and CHAROLETTE "LOTTE" BELLE KILGORE. In Pinckney's later years he completed his high school education and two years of college by studying at night with correspondence courses. He became a Civil Engineer. He worked for the U.S. Army at Camp Fannin, Texas, Soil Conservation Corps, the bureau of Roads and the Bureau of Indian Affairs. He lived on the Hopi Indian Reservation while he worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. After his retirement from the federal government, he worked ten years for the City of Phoenix as an Engineer. Pinckney Brown died in Phoenix Maricopa County, Arizona on January 24, 1986 Mayme Belle died December 23, 1988. Both are buried in Wells, Cherokee County Texas.

1a) PAULA MILO CREEKMORE, first child of Pinckney Brown and Mayme Belle Creekmore, was born April 8, 1933. She married REX MILLHOLLON, Ph.D. on October 1, 1952 in Snyder, Scurry County, Texas. Rex was born May 1, 1931 in Ira Scurry County, Texas. His parents were EDDIE LLOYD MILLHOLL0N and TOMMIE "LOU"@ BLOUNT STARK. He is a 1948 graduate of Snyder High School, Snyder, Texas. In 1952 he earned a B.S. from Texas A&M University in Agriculture Education. He holds a B.S. in Plant Science and obtained his Ph.D from the University of Arizona in 1961. Rex was a 1st lieutenant and served 21 months in the Korean war. He is a Research Scientist at USDA Sugar Cane Field Laboratory, Houma, Louisiana. Paula is a 1950 graduate of Palo Verde High School, Blythe, California. In 1061 she obtained a BA in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona and in 1975 a Masters in Education from Nicholls State University as a Reading Specialist. Paula was a classroom teacher for eleven years before becoming the Regional Director of State School Improvement Project. In 1989 she retired to help with family needs of the younger and older generations. Paul and Rex live in Houma Louisiana.

1b EDDIE PAUL MILLHOLLON, first child of Rex and Paula Millhollon was born August 2, 1953 in Portsmouth, Virginia. He married January 2, 1973 BEVERLY ANN HEBERT in Thibodeaux, LaFourche Parish, Louisiana. Beverly was born July 15, 1955 in St. Mary's Parish, Louisiana. Eddie and Beverly were divorced in 1992. Eddie Paul is a 1971 graduate of Terrebonne Parish High School. He has a B.S. in Biology from Nicholls State University and a Masters in Physiology from Louisiana State University. In 1984 he earned his Ph.D in Plant Physiology and Agronomy at Louisiana State University. He is an Associate Professor at Louisiana State University, Red River Experiment Station in Bossier City, Louisiana. To this union MICHELLE LYNNE and LINDA CLAIRE MILLHOLLON were born September 9, 1973 and January 30, 1980.

2b BRIAN WADE MILLHOLLON, second child of Rex and Paula Millhollon was born August 5, 1955 in Tucson, Pima County, Arizona. He married CATHERINE T. GIROD March 22, 1986 in Mobile, Alabama. Brian Wade is a 1973 graduate of Terrebonne High School, Houma, Louisiana. He obtained his B.S. in premed at Nicholls State University and obtained a Medical Degree from Louisiana State University. He obtained degrees in Internal Medicine in 1989 from University of Texas, in 1991 in Pulmonary Diseases from Texas A&M University and in 1993 Immunology from Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana. Brian Wade is presently an Allergy Specialist with office in Mesa, Scottsdale and Tempe, Arizona. To this union JONATHAN CRAIG, MARTIN GIROD and ERIC MICHAEL MILLHOLLON were born April 7, 1987, August 13, 1989 and January 3, 1991.

3b BRENNA GAY MILLHOLLON, third child of Rex and Paul Millhollon, was born April 18, 1957 in Tucson, Pima County, Arizona. She married MALCOLM JOACHIM LAGRADE January 5, 1982 in Thibodeaux, LaForche Parish, Louisiana. There were divorced in 1988. Brenna Gay is a 1974 graduate from Terrebonne Parish High School, Houma, Louisiana. She obtained a B.S. from Nicholls State University with a Major in Fashion Management. She has a Masters in Science Education, Chemistry Major from Nicholls Sate University and is presently doing graduate work. She is a Science Teacher in Houma Junior High School, Houma, Louisiana. To this union were born AIMEE CELESTE and PAUL ROCHELLE LAGARDE on October 4, 1982 and April 1, 1985.

4b SCOTT PERRY MILLHOLLON, fourth child of Rex and Paula Millhollon, was born April 2, 1959. Scott was born profoundly retarded and lives at Hammond State Developmental Center, Hammond, Louisiana.

2a DAPHNE MARIE CREEKMORE, second child of Pinckney Brown and Mayme Creekmore, was born February 25, 1937. She married RONALD GEORGE HEGENDERFER in 1957 in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona. Ronald was born February 2, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio. Daphne Graduated from Sunnyslope High School, Phoenix, Arizona in 1955. She is an Office Manager for a hospital in Bull Head City, Arizona.

1b) ANDREW RAY HEGENDERFER, first child of Ronald and Daphne HEGENDERFER, was born July 7, 1958. He married DEBBIE MAYS on February 14, 1977 in Phoenix, Maricopa, Arizona. Andy has a career with the U.S. Air Force. To this union ANDREA CHRISTINE HEGENDERFER was born November 24, 1977.

2b) ALLEN DONALD HEGENDERFER, second child of Ronald and Daphne Creekmore, was born July 20, 1959 in Sunnyslope, Maricopa County, Arizona. Allen works in Building Maintenance for the State of Arizona.

3b) PEGGY SUE HEGENDERFER, third child of Ronald and Daphne HEGENDERFER, was born September 26, 1960 in Sunnyslope, Maricopa County, Arizona. She married LARRY CHANDLER. Larry and Peggy were divorced in 1985. Peggy is a Respiratory Therapist for a Home Health Care Company in Phoenix, Arizona. To the union CENTRA, LARRY, JR. and RONALD CHANDLER were born October 6, 1983, October 12, 1987 and October 12, 1987.

4b) RONDA GAIL HEGENDERFER, fourth child of Ronda and Daphne HEGENDERFER, was born September 27, 1963 in Florence, Pinal County, Arizona. She married JEFF FASNACHT on August 21, 1992. Jeff was born December 23, 1962. Ronda worked as a doctor's assistant before the birth of her two children JANAE ' MARIE and JEFF FASNACHT, JR.

3a) MILDRED LOUISE CREEKMORE, third child of Pinckney Brown and Mayme Belle Creekmore, was born August 29, 1939. She married DAVID NELSON MONTGOMERY in Pasadena, California on July 2, 1960. Dave graduated from Elmhurst High School in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, in 1956. He obtained a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona in 1960 and a Ph.D in Atmospheric Physics from the University of Arizona in 1969. Dave recently retired from federal civil service where he was Director Ordinance Engineering Support Division of Comarco where he managed a group of one hundred engineers and technicians. Millie is a 1957 graduate of Sunnyslope High School, Phoenix, Arizona. She obtained a B Ed degree in Math from the University of Arizona in 1961 and an M Ed degree in Measurement and Research in Education from the University of Arizona in 1965. She taught mathematics for many years in Arizona, Missouri and Indiana. Presently she manages the family investments and a Christmas Tree Farm. She and Dave live near Kileen, Greene County, Indiana (1997). To this union no children were born.

4a MARION EVERETT CREEKMORE, fourth child of Lou Alma and Tom Everett Creekmore, was born October 30, 1912 in Pollok, Angelina County, Texas. He married DOROTHY MAE GOFFORD on June 22, 1940 in Texarkana, Arkansas. Dorothy Mae died April 1995 in Tyler, Smith County, Texas. He worked for Cotton Belt Railroad and lives in Tyler Texas.

1a) MARION EVERETT CREEKMORE, JR., child of Marion Everett and Dorothy Creekmore, was born June 30, 1941 in Tyler, Smith County, Texas. He married POLLY JANE PESSINK. Polly was born March 18, 1950. He retired as a foreman in the sheet metal shop for Cotton Belt Railroad. To this union PATRICK WAYNE and PENELOPE ANNE CREEKMORE were born March 22, 1971 and January 17, 1973.

5a ALMA ADELLE CREEKMORE, fifth child of Lou Alma and Tom Creekmore, was born October 14, 1914 in Pollok, Angelina County, Texas. She married CHARLES FRANCIS STEPHENSON on December 12, 1932 in Cherokee County, Texas, and to this union CHARLES EVERETT STEPHENSON was born September 15, 1933. Alma married second time BERLIN DANIEL BREWER in August 1942.

1a) CHARLES EVERETT STEPHENSON, child of Alma and Charles Stephenson, was born September 15, 1933 in Wells, Cherokee County, Texas. He married SHEILIA TRAYNIER.

1b) DEBBIE STEPHENSON, first child of Charles and Sheila Stephenson, was born October 20, 1956. She married KARIM MOSSAVAT and JOCELYN and BROOKE MOSSAVAT were born.

2b) SHARON ELLEN STEPHENSON, second child of Charles and Sheila Stephenson, was born May 9, 1959. She married BROCK F. LAWSON and NICHOLETTE MICHELLE LAWSON was born November 29, 1980.

6a EDWARD MILO (NED) CREEKMORE, sixth child of Lou Alma and Tom Everett Creekmore, was born January 23, 1917 in Tyler, Smith County, Texas. A marriage license was obtained in Angelina County, in 1942. They postponed the wedding because Ned had to go overseas during World War II. He married BERTICE "PETE" SHUMAKER on March 14, 1944 in Tyler Smith County, Texas.

1a) GLENDA ANN CREEKMORE, first child of Ned and Pete Creekmore, was born August 11, 1946 in Tyler, Smith County, Texas. She married JACK ROSS and they were divorced. She later married RICHARD STONE and JUSTIN LEWIS STONE was born December 30, 1987

2a) JANICE KAY CREEKMORE, second child of Ned and Pete Creekmore, was born June 24, 1949 in Tyler, Smith County, Texas. She married ROBERT DON GILLIMAN. To this union MICHAEL TRENT and CHRISTOPHER BLAKE GILLIMAN were born July 20, 1971 and March 18, 1975.

7a JOHN ARTHUR CREEKMORE, seventh child of Lou Alma and Tom Everet Creekmore, was born October 23, 1920 in Forest, Cherokee County, Texas. He married LOUISE STONE. To this union BILLY JOE and LINDA GAIL CREEKMORE were born March 10, 1947 and May 12, 1950. John later married LUCILLE SCOTT.

8a DIXIE NEWMAN CREEKMORE, eighth child of Lou Alma and Tom Everett Creekmore, was born January 4, 1924 in Forest, Cherokee County, Texas. She married S. C. AYERS.

1a) S. C. AYERS, JR. first child of S. C. And Dixie Ayers, was born February 14, 1948 in Jacksonville, Cherokee County, Texas. He married MARGARET ANN TIBBS on March 23, 1973 in Ft. Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. He is a Salesman and served in the Military from 1966 thru 1969. Donna is a Cashier. To this union KATHRYN DARLEEN AYERS was born April 14, 1975. They live in Crowley, Texas.

2a) DONNA MARIE AYERS, second child of S. C. and Dixie Ayers was born September 28, 1949 in Ft. Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. She married RICKY LYNN MCDONALD in Ft. Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. To this union AMBER MCDONALD was born May 11, 1970. Amber married EARL ALVIN BRAWLEY on January 19, 1990 in Burleson, Johnson County, Texas.

FLORA ETTA YARBROUGH

FLORA ETTA YARBROUGH, third child of Nimrod Pinckney and Flora Ann Newman Brandon Yarbrough, was born January 10, 1885 in Pollok, Angelina County, Texas. She married MARION GEORGE ALDREDGE on October 8, 1903 in Angelina County, Texas. George was born May 8, 1882 in Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas. He died June 7, 1920. Flora Etta Died September 24, 1964. Both are buried in Pollok, Angelina County, Texas.

1. MARGUERET GAZEL ALDREDGE, first child of Marion and Flora Etta Aldredge, was born February 7, 1905 in Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas. She married MELVIN HATAWAY on January 2, 1926. Melvin was born September 28, 1903 in Alto, Cherokee County, Texas. He died August 3, 1977 in Dallas, Texas. She died July 2, 1979.

a. JANE MARIE HATAWAY, first child of Melvin and Margueret Hataway, was born August 26, 1927. She married JACK ROMEY. To this union MARIE ELAINE ROMEY was born December 17, 1947. Jane later married B. H. MOSS and to this union KELLIE ANN MOSS was born July 22, 1961.

b. MARIE CHRISTINE HATAWAY, second child of Melvin and Margueret Hataway, was born August 26, 1929. She married JOHN ROBERT CARTER. To this union CHRISTIE GAY and NITA RUTH CARTER were born November 5, 1949 and in 1961. Marie later married B.A. WILSON and to this union DEBBIE SUE WILSON was born in 1962. B. A. Wilson later adopted NINA RUTH CARTER. B. A. died July 27, 1977.

c. MELVIN HATAWAY, JR., third child of Melvin and Margueret Hataway, was born May 7, 1931. He married ELINOR ALFORD and to this union NINA GAIL and KYLE BENNETT HATAWAY were June 26, 1956 and August 21, 1959.

d. DOROTHY LEE HATAWAY, fourth child of Melvin and Margueret Hataway, was born June 18, 1934. She married ROY SPRINGER.

e. WANDA SUE HATAWAY, fifth child of Melvin and Margueret Hataway, was born February 14, 1941. She married REVEREND ROGER WAYNE PIERCE.

f. MARIE ETTA HATAWAY, sixth child of Melvin and Margueret Hataway, was born November 11, 1944. She married GEROLD JENKINS. To this union JOEL DAN JENKINS was born January 11, 1962. She later married BUD WEAVER. To this union NANCY and JANIE WEAVER were born May 18, 1971 and January 20, 1974. Marie Etta married third time to THOMAS KEY. To this union ANDREW THOMAS and JEREMIAH KEY were born October 21, 1979 and February 11, 1982.

2. FANNIE GEORGIA ALDREDGE, second child of Marion and Flora Etta Aldredge, was born April 23, 1907 in Lufkin, Texas. She married GLENN MASSENGILLE on December 18, 1926 in Lufkin, Texas.

a. JAMES BOYD MASSENGILLE, child of Glenn and Fannie Massengille, was born October 15, 1931. He married BARBARA GAIL GOGG. To this union LAURA ANN and STACY ANN MASSENGILLE were born July 11, 1954 and March 8, 1959. James married the second time to PATRICIA ANN HOLLINGSHEAD SOUTHERN.

3. FLORA NEWMAN ALDREDGE, third child of Marion and Flora Etta Aldredge was born October 9, 1909 in Lufkin, Texas. She married JAMES AUBREY HUGHES on December 30, 1933 in Lufkin, Texas.

a. MICHAEL PEYTON HUGHES, first child of James and Flora Hughes, was born September 9, 1938 in Lufkin, Texas. He married ELOISE ELIZABETH COPELAND on January 30, 1960.

1) MARY ELIZABETH HUGHES, first child of Michael and Elizabeth Hughes, was born May 18,1 961. She married RICK RUMFIELD in June 1988 and to this union COURTNEY ELIZABETH RUMFIELD was born June 21, 1981.

2) DAVID COPELAND HUGHES, second child of Michael and Elizabeth Hughes, was born June 29, 1965. He married MARY last name unknown and to this union HOLLY CORN and RICHARD B. HUGHES were born in 1985 and 1989. He later married MARY HENDRICK in November 1992. Mary had two children from a previous marriage: BRETT AND ANDREW HENDRICK born in 1985 and 1987.

b. EDWARD LEWIS HUGHES, second child of James and Flora Hughes, was born December 4, 1940 in Lufkin, Texas. He married BETTY JEAN POLLARD. To this union STEPHEN KEVIN HUGHES was born May 12, 1961. Edward married second time to HELEN BLYSARD and CHRISTOPHER ERIC HUGHES was born September 17, 1974 in San Jose, California.

1. WAYLAND EARL ALDREDGE, fourth child of George and Flora Aldredge was born May 30, 1913. He married MARIE KILLOUGH. Wayland died in June 1993. Married died in 1988.

a. LINDA DIANE ALDREDGE, first child of Wayland and Marie Aldredge, was born July 25, 1948. She married EDWARD HERRIAN. To this union DIANE ELIZABETH, CATHERINE MARIE and REBECCA ANN HERRIAN were born February 28,1967, April 24, 1968 and July 31, 1972.

b. DEBORAH ALDREDGE, second child of Wayland and Marie Aldredge, was born January 15, 1951. She married GEORGE WILKERSON.

c. BARBARA MARRIED ALDREDGE, third child of Wayland and Marie Aldredge, was born July 31, 1952. She married DR. JACK ALFORD. To this union AMY and DAVID ALFORD were born in 1985 and 1987.

d. CAROLYN ANN ALDREDGE, fourth child of Wayland and Marie Aldredge, was born June 12 1954. She married EDWARD TOUSINAU and AARON TOUSINAU was born October 1, 1978.

e. FLORA ELIZABETH ALDREDGE, fifth child of Wayland and Marie Aldredge, was born October 18, 1956. She married PAUL THOMAS. To this union CHRISTINE DAWN THOMAS was born August 1, 1975.

BILLINGTON FRANKLIN YARBROUGH, fourth child of Nimrod and Flora Ann Newman Yarbrough, was born December 8, 1887. He married AUDREY WHITE.

Billington Frank married second time to ARLICIA STARLING.

1. FLORA YARBROUGH, first child of Billington and Audrey Yarbrough, was born April 1902. She married DAN JENNINGS. She died, age 83, on April 10, 1985. To this union MILDRED and J.D. JENNINGS were born. She married second time CLARENCE WARD.

2. ALMA SUE YARBROUGH, second child of Billington and Audrey Yarbrough, was born May 15, 1902. The birth date of Flora and Alma are in conflict of each other, unless they are twins and the recorded date is in error.

3. NOOLAND PINCKNEY YARBROUGH, third child of Billington and Audrey Yarbrough, was born March 7, 1907. He married ALLIE MAE MOORE on June 22, 1925. She was born November 29,1908. He died in New Caney, Texas on July 24, 1990 and is buried in Newman Cemetery, Lufkin, Texas.

b. MARLON RAY YARBROUGH, second child of Nooland and Allie Yarbrough, was born August 19, 1928. He married BARBARA DRAKE on September 11, 1950. Barbara was born January 7, 1935. To this union BOBBY RAY and JERRI LYNN YARBROUGH were born June 22, 1951 and January 28, 1954. Marlon died February 6, 1992.

c. VERGIE LEE YARBROUGH, third child of Nooland and Allie Yarbrough, was born November 3, 1930. He married MARY A. BOWMAN on May 12, 1960. Mary was born June 27, 1944. To this union TAMMY LEE, ROSE MARY and CONNIE RENEE YARBROUGH were born October 6, 1962, December 13, 1964 and May 29, 1974.

d. AUDREY EVELYN YARBROUGH, fourth child of Nooland and Allie Yarbrough,was born June 8, 1935. She married CLYDE HERMAN CHAPMAN on December 8, 1951. Clyde was born March 25, 1930. To this union SHEILA RENEE AND CARLA ANNETTE CHAPMAN were born.

e. CURTIS WAYNE YARBROUGH, fifth child of Nooland and Allie Yarbrough, was born October 8, 1938. He married MARGIE OWENS. Margie was born April 28, 1938.

f. WILLIAM BOYD YARBROUGH, sixth child of Nooland and Allie Yarbrough, was born February 22, 1942. He married SHELVIE BORDEN. Shelvie was born January 30,1946.

CARL EDWARD YARBROUGH, seventh child of Nooland and Allie Yarbrough, was born May 13, 1947. He married JACQEULINE MAE CLOVIS on August 24, 1968. Jacqeuline was born December 19, 1950. To this union VINCE EDWARD, SCOTTY LEE and KRISTY MARIE YARBROUGH were born June 12, 1969, February 7, 1972 and August 9, 1980. Kristy Marie died November 24, 1984.

4. MAYFORD BENSON YARBROUGH, second child of Billington and Arlicia Yarbrough, was born January 29, 1913. He married MADGE SCOTT. To this union KENT, NANCY and JOHN BRENT YARBROUGH were born in 1941, 1948 and 1950.
