Peres Raymond from John Wilkinson - - 301

Know all men by these presents that I John Wilkinson
of Bristol in the county in the county (sic) of Addison and State of
Vermont for the consideration of the sum of eight hundred
and fifty dollars current money of the United States received
in full to my satisfaction of Peris Raymond of Bristol in the
county and state aforesaid the receipt whereof I do humbly acknow-
-ledge have given, granted, bargained and sold and by these
presents do give, grant, bargain, sell, alien, convey and confirm
unto the said Peris Raymond, his heirs and assign forever
the following described piece or parcel of land lying and being
in Bristol aforesaid (to wit) the whole of the first division lot
drawn to the right of William Field Jun. Supposed to contain
ninety acres & is N'o 88 --------------------------

To have and to hold the above granted and bargained
premises with all the privileges and appurtenances thereof and
thereto belonging to him the said Peris Raymond, his heirs and
assign to him and their own proper use benefit and behoof
forever, and I the said John Wilkinson do for myself, my heirs,
executor and administrator, covenant to and with the said
Raymond, his heirs, executor, administrators and assigns
that at and untill the insealing of these presents I am well seized
of the premises in fee simple, that I have good right and have
full authority to bargain and sell same in manner and
form as is above writen (sic). That they are free and clear of all
incumbrances and that I will warrant and defend the
same against all lawful claims and demands of any
person or persons whatsoever. ---------------------------

thousand eight hundred and eighteen
