Know all men by these presents that I Paul Raymond
of Bristol in the County of Addison and State of Vermont for and in
consideration of the sum of twelve hundred dollars current
money of the United States received in full to my satisfaction
of Paul Raymond Jr. of Bristol, County and State aforesaid, The receipt
thereof I do hereby acknowledge have given, granted, bargained and
sold, and by these presents do give grant, bargain sell alien, convey
and confirm unto the said Paul Raymond Jr. his heirs and assigns
forever a section, tract or parsel of land lying and being in Bristol
aforesaid viz. The whole of the second lot drawn to the right of Samuel
Hungerford [no. 30] proprietor in said Bristol also thirty acres off of the west
end of the second division lot drawn to the original right of Albert
Baker [no. 29] proprietor in s'd Bristol.

To have and to hold the above granted & bargained
premises with all the priviledges & appurtenances thereof
and thereto belonging to him the said Paul Raymond Jr. his heirs
and assigns to his and their own proper use, benefit and behoof
forever, and I the said Paul Raymond do for myself, my heirs,
executors, administrators, covenant to and with the said
Paul Jr. his heirs, executors, and administrators and assigns that at
and until the insealing of these presents, I am well seized of the
premises in fee simple, that as is above written that they are free
and clear of all incumbrances and that I will warrant and
defend the same against all lawful claims and demands
of any person or persons whatsoever . --------
