Lemuel Raymond of Paul Raymond

Know all men by these presents that I Paul Raymond
of Bristol in the county of Addison and State of Vermont for and
in consideration of the sum of six hundred and seven dollars current money
of the United States received in full to my satisfaction of Lemuel
Raymond of the same Bristol aforesaid, the receipt whereof
I do hereby acknowledge have given, granted, bargained and
sold, aliened, conveyed and confirmed unto the said Lemuel,
his heirs and assigns forever the following peace or parsel of
land lying and being in Bristol aforesaid and is directed as
follows viz. seventy five acres being a part of the third
division lot drawn drawn (sic) to the right of Edward Lawrence [lot 11]
also two acres being a part of the third division lot to the
right of Henry Hyder [lot 51]. The whole of said lands being that
deeded to Asa Aldridge and Oliver W. Burnham by William
Nacumber(?) the eleventh day of March A.D. Eighteen
hundred and seventeen. To have and to hold the above
land, granted & bargained premises with all the priviledges & appur-
tenances thereunto belonging to him the said Lemuel, his
heirs and assigns to his and their own proper use, benefit and
behoof forever and I the said Paul Raymond do for my
self, my heirs, & executors, administrators, covenant to &
with the said Lemuel Raymond, his heirs executors, adm-
inistrators & assigns that at and until the insealing of
these presents, I am lawfully seized of the premises
in fee simple, that I have good right lawful
authority to bargain and sell the same in manner and
form as is above written. That they are free and clear
of all incumbrances and that I will warrant and defend
the same against all lawful claims and demands of
any person or persons whatsoever In witness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventh
Day of December Anno Domini one thousand Eight ,
hundred and twenty one NB the ward, (& administrator)
